Our Policy

Creator Earnings

Founding Creators receive 80% of all revenue generated from their content. All other creators receive 70%. Tips go 100% to creators — VidPact takes nothing from tips during beta. Earnings are paid out monthly via Wise or Payoneer once the balance exceeds $20.

Content Rules

No re-uploaded or stolen content. We use perceptual hashing and audio fingerprinting to detect duplicates automatically. No NSFW content — zero tolerance, immediate permanent ban. No content that violates copyright. First offense for stolen content: warning and removal. Second offense: permanent channel ban.

Verification

All active participants complete face verification. This confirms you're a real human and prevents duplicate accounts. Your face data is used solely for verification and is never shared with third parties or advertisers. You can browse and watch without verification, but commenting, tipping, and advertising require it.

Advertising

During beta, business advertising is free. Ads are shown as small cards beneath videos, targeted by viewer age range. We never show ads that are irrelevant to the viewer's demographic. Advertisers see real impression and click data from verified viewers only.

Demonetization

We will never demonetize a channel without a clear, specific reason communicated directly to the creator, at least 48 hours notice before any action, and an appeal process with human review. If your content is legal and original, you earn money. Period.

Account & Data Retention

VidPact operates on a one-person-one-account policy enforced by face verification. Account deletion is not available. Even if your account is removed for any reason, all associated data — including face verification, comments, likes, views, reports, and content history — is permanently retained and linked to your identity. If you create a new account with the same email, your full history will be restored and linked to the new account. This policy exists to prevent abuse: no one can commit wrongdoing, delete their account, and start fresh. Your face data ensures you cannot create duplicate accounts under any circumstances.
